Duke could still compete in the NCAA Tournament if they were selected as an at-large or a replacement team, sources told ESPN.

Duke withdrew from the ACC tournament after a positive test in the program.

Athletic director Kevin White said at the time that the withdrawal "will end our 2020-21 season."

Duke are 13-11 on the season, including 9-9 in the conference.

Teams will need to show seven consecutive negative tests to compete in the NCAA Tournament. 

Duke has been eliminated from the ACC Tournament after recording a positive COVID-19 test within the program.

Duke was scheduled to play Florida State in the ACC quarterfinals.

By most accounts, Duke needed a very strong showing the tournament in order to qualify for the NCAA Tournament. The Blue Devils haven't missed the NCAA Tournament since 1995.
